There is Still Beauty Even When Life Gets Ugly
I have had a rough first couple months this year. In February I lost my sister to complications because of her fight with cancer, third round. As soon as I thought I might have a chance of moving on with life and trying to get some normalcy back, my dear cousin lost her fight with cancer almost 2 months later to the day.
Both of these beautiful women had a wonderful outlook on life, fantastic sense of humor, and were very loving and giving individuals. They both lived their life to the fullest, enjoying every moment and every love in their life. Because of these examples, I am even more determined to enjoy my life before time runs out. What I have learned is, that life is short, you never know when it may end or someone special may be taken out of your life unexpectedly. This has amped up my determination to show more of the beauty in this world through my photography and by the way I live my life.
Live, Love, Laugh. This should be the motto for everyone.
I hope you will enjoy my additions to the website. I have struggled in life recently, but find peace behind the viewfinder of my camera. Now when I take pictures, I look at the scene, not only through my own eyes, but with the thought of how my sister and cousin would appreciate the beauty in what I am focusing my camera on.
So even when life is dealing you a nasty hand, there is always beauty to be found. If you do not seek it out and find it, it will pass you by. Stop and look at the wildflowers growing in the spring, listen to the birds sing, enjoy the scent of the rain, the butterflies, life can be beautiful, just look around. If you are not happy with what you do have in life, before you know it, it will be gone.
"Enjoy the little things in life, because one day you will look back, and realize that they were the big things."
